Welcome

Originally set up back in 2002 under the name Beneath The Shades ~ the community has undergone a number of changes in the last ten years. But now we are back…and better than ever!

The site format has changed, as we now have a number of bloggers who will share with you their experiences and expertise in various aspects of magick and witchcraft.  These can be found in The Library. If you wish to discuss any of these pieces or indeed anything on the subject of magick and Witchcraft then please join the forum.

From Beneath The Shades is now on Twitter, Facebook and Google plus, though admittedly we are more active on Facebook and Twitter right now if you wish to keep up to date with everything happening here on site. Follow & Share buttons can be found on each page of the main website.

From Beneath the Shades they came, a group of people bound by their love of magick, a passion to learn and share and with an acceptance of each other’s differences not normally respected on other sites; a community was born.  A community much different from other net communities, one made up of magick users, both experienced path workers and newcomers with a treasury of knowledge between them.

They walked the walk, not just talked the talk, no fluff, no abdication of result or failure.   Continents divided them and many paths they walked but they learnt the magicks and knowledge by hard graft. The sort of magiks that cannot be learnt in book studies, because book studies do not hurt, nor do you get your hands dirty.

And we return after a few years away; stronger, older, wiser (maybe), and ready to share again. Here we work things out, not just re-write them. Here we share and learn. When things don’t work as we expect, we discuss and work it again.  Real magicks.

So welcome strangers, old friends and new to our website.  You are very welcome to join us.
